A Note From the Artist:
I believe that everyone is born with a gift. My gift has always been art, creation, and out-of-the-box ideas. If asked "what do you want to be when you grow up?" my answer through decades was "a starving artist."
Unfortunately, that gift was stifled and suppressed by a longing to be enough - to be worthy of love. I spent decades chasing a dream that wasn't mine, only to find that no matter how high I climbed, how much I achieved, or how much money I made, it would never be enough - ever. How unfortunate it is to spend so much time and energy trying to earn something that should be given freely, and unconditionally...
The day I finally realized and accepted what I cannot change, was the day I started becoming myself again; and I have allowed myself to slowly heal, recover, and begin to redefine my purpose on this earth.
Part of that purpose is to create a more beautiful world for others to enjoy, using interesting materials and combinations that are unique to each piece. Because each item is handcrafted, they may have imperfections- as they should. In a world where so many of us are expected to fit into a neat little package, my purpose is to create beautiful, functional designs that serve as a reminder that each of us is unique, beautiful in our own way, and always perfectly imperfect.
