**Care Instructions**

• Light: 6+ hours of direct sunlight daily; tolerates partial shade
• Water: Keep soil moist but not waterlogged; water when top inch feels dry
• Soil: Well-draining potting or garden soil with compost
• Temperature: 65–75°F; prefers warmth and protection from cold
• Harvesting: Pinch stem tips regularly to encourage bushiness and prevent flowering; harvest as needed for best flavor
  

Growing Tip:

After your plants have developed two sets of leaves, pinch off the stem just above the first set (yes, this may feel painful to do, but trust me). When you pinch off stems, basil will produce TWO new stems from the set of leaves beneath. This will then double the output and produce a fuller, bushier plant. Continue to pinch off in the same manner as desired.

For best results, re-pot individual plants in seperate 12 inch containers to avoid competition for space and nutrients.
