Decorative Dough Bowl Candle
Made from organic soy, coconut & beeswax
This candle was handcrafted to be one of a kind using a variety of pouring, layering, and molding techniques, some of which are similar to the molding of clay. We also used a variety of heat tools to assist in the intricate formation and manipulation of the wax in order to shape it in ways that cannot be accomplished through the use of standard wax molds. Each dough bowl we make is a one of a kind piece of decorative art that will not only fill your space with something beautiful, but will provide a soft scent to the area as well.
Scent: Escape (creamy coconut & sultry amber, with undertones of velvety, bold black orchid & earthy patchouli)
Safety Information
Safety Information
These candles are meant to be decorative in nature and are not treated with any fire retardants due to the hazardous nature of those chemicals when exposed to heat. Because all dough bowls are made of wood, they are flammable. All of them - treated or not. We care more about your safety than we do about following an unsafe trend that can (and has) cost people their homes, their pets, or their lives.
Despite this fact, we cannot control what people do once our candles arrive in your home. We know that many people do, and will, continue to burn these candles, even if advised otherwise. Therefore, we have checked our bowls for leaks, lined them with a wax created to clog the wick and extinguish it, and have used undersized wicks to keep heat away from the sides. Let us be clear - in no way are we suggesting you burn this candle. We are simply taking precautions towards the inevitable misuse of our product.
Care & Cleaning
Care & Cleaning
To remove dust from your candle, a new, clean duster (swiffer duster or similar) may be used to gently pick up loose dust. If stubborn dust remains or if dust accumulates in small crevices, gently mist with cool water to loosen, and tip the dough bowl to roll water off to the side, then absorb with lint-free cloth or paper towel. Very light and gentle dabbing may be used if necessary, but avoid wiping any surfaces where wax has a shiny coating of colorant, or where there are fragile molded parts. When not on display, store in a safe, cool, & dry place, covered (a box works well, or loosely drape a piece of plastic wrap over top).
